In L.A. fertility clinic parents allowed to choose gender of their baby
Dr. Jeffrey Steinberg is a fertility specialist whose fertility institute has patients all over the world.
His patients are couples who want to have only a baby boy, or only a baby girl!
The number of parents who want to select the gender of their baby's before conception is increasing. Eightfold, dr. Steinberg says, only in the last seven years.
It's interesting to notice that his asian patients overwhelmingly favor boys - because of societal pressures. Canadians, on the other hand, favor girls - but he doesn't know why.
His american patients mainly come for "family balancing".
