when to conceive boy baby
Which is the best month to conceive a baby boy?
The best month to conceive a boy is October, italian researchers studying human reproduction concluded.
More baby boys are born in the summer then any other time of the year.
When there is 12 hours of daylight and temperatures are averaging 54 degrees Fahrenheit, more baby boys are conceived.
This are results of an italian study: in this part of the world conception in October means a summer birth.
On the other side of the equator it would be just opposite, of course.
Since boys are more fragile in their first few weeks in the womb than baby girls, this may be a nature's way to ensure that fewer boys are being born during harsher winter months.
The researh team from the Policlinico of Modena, led by Dr. Angelo Cagnacci, studied more than 14,310 births in Italy between 1995 and 2001.
The ratio of boys and girls varied across the year, but out of 1,000 babies conceived in October, 535 were boys and 465 were girls. But in April, the ratio was 487 boys to 513 girls.
This is what Dr. Angelo Cagnacci said for Daily Telegraph:
"We could conclude from our data that if you want a boy in this region of the world, you would have a better chance if you tried to time conception between September and November.
And, although the overall numbers of conceptions between March and May are lower than in the autumn, these are the months when you are more likely to conceive a girl."
